Policies and Terms of Service

IN HOUSE EVALUATIONS:
Our In House evaluation rates are
$65.00 for Desk top computers and printers
$65.00 for Laptops and Notebooks

ON SITE EVALUATIONS:
Our ON SITE evaluation rate is
$90 for Equipment and/or Software
Issues

NONWARRANTY REPAIRS
In House Repairs are billed at a
rate of $65.00 per hour.
A one hour minimum is billed at a flat rate of $65.00
and will be billed in ½ hour increments after the first
hour.
*Hourly service rates do not include the cost of parts,
shipping costs, travel fee or taxes.

On Site Repairs are billed at a
rate of $90.00 per hour.

fee or taxes.
A $12.00 Travel Fee will be billed
on any On-Site Service call that is more than 25 miles
from Aladdin Computer.

MANUFACTURER WARRANTY CLAIM:
Any repair/service made or performed that is not covered
under warranty, including a diagnosis of “no problem found” is
the responsibility of the customer and will be billed at our
current Evaluation rate.
If a liquid spill or any physical damage is found this
will automatically “Void the Manufacturer’s Warranty” and will
become billable.
(This also includes software issues, spyware and viruses.)
DATA:
IF THE RETORE DISK IS USED, ALL DATA WILL BE LOST AS THE UNIT
WILL BE RETURNED AS IS FROM THE MANUFACTURE.
ALADDIN COMPUTER WILL BACK UP DATA ONLY AT THE CUSTOMER”S
REQUEST.
This Process can involve from 30 to 90 minutes or more,
depending on the amount of data and what is required by the
customer.
The “ATTEMPT” to recover data is billed at $65.00 per hr. with a
minimum charge of 1 hour.
This charge applies whether the “ATTEMPT” is successful or not.
THE CUSTOMER, should be
aware THAT WHETHER OR NOT the customer REQUEST ALADDIN
COMPUTER TO BACK UP MY DATA, that IN NO EVENT SHALL ALADDIN
COMPUTER BE LIABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR ANY LOSS,
ALTERATION OR CORRUPTION OF ANY DATA OR LOSS OF ANY MEDIA FROM
MY PRODUCT.
UNCLAIMED
EQUIPMENT:
Aladdin Computer accepts no responsibility for any equipment not
picked up within 30 days of completed service.
Aladdin Computer will make every effort to contact the
customer on the day of completion.
Customers should be aware that Aladdin Computer may
dispose of equipment after 30 days of completion if not claimed.
Such disposal does not release the customer from any outstanding
balance owed for services and/or equipment.
ALADDIN COMPUTER WARRANTY:
At no additional charge,
Aladdin Computer will correct any Hardware related service
issues which occur within 30 days of the date of pickup,
Provided that the equipment is returned to Aladdin Computer
within that Thirty (30) day period. Warrantees for Refurbished
Equipment vary, unless otherwise Specified, Aladdin Computer
will Repair or Replace Equipment, Provided that the equipment is
returned to Aladdin Computer within Ninety (90) days from the
date of purchase.
This provision will not apply to virus/spyware removal or
software repairs.
New replacement parts and New Equipment carry unique
manufactures warrantees and are not warranted independently by
Aladdin Computer.
Claims for any physical damage to serviced equipment must be
made at the time of pick up
PAYMENT:
Full payment is expected at the time of delivery or pickup.
Aladdin Computer accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express,
Discover Card and Cash.
Checks will be accepted with proper identification.
Standard account terms and conditions apply unless noted otherwise.
A 1.5% finance fee will be applied monthly for outstanding balances
on invoices.
Personal guarantee: The undersigned will personally guarantee
payment for products and service as outlined and verified, as
well as all cost associated with collection past due accounts,
if the customer is a corporation, then those signing this
agreement, whether signing as an officer or not, personally
guarantee payment for all items and services purchased by the
corporation.
CONSUMABLES:
Aladdin Computer requires an operational consumable (ribbon,
ink/toner cartridge) to be in the printer/plotter so as to test
the unit after service.
If the unit has no consumable or the consumable is
inadequate or damaged, Aladdin Computer will install an OEM
approved consumable and the customer will be responsible at our
standard retail rate.
